Oh Yes, It's Johnny! By Johnny Litton (The Philippine Star, July 21, 2011)
The recent 40th turnover ceremonies of the Philippine College of Rotary Governors (PCRG) at the Hotel InterContinental Manila proved to be very momentous. It was a “double” induction, so to speak, of the incoming board of PCRG directors and the Philippine Rotary Magazine Foundation (PRMF) trustees. Originally an association formed to promote camaraderie and maintain the interest in Rotary affairs alive among past district governors, the PCRG now counts present and incoming district governors among its members. The new PCRG chairman is Rafael “Butch” Francisco while outgoing PCRG chair James Dee now sits at the helm of the PRMF, which publishes thePhilippine Rotary Magazine, the official publication for local Rotarians. Members of the PCRG board include Ding San Diego, Dulce Coyukiat, Jess Nicdao, Mac Hermoso, Lyne Abanilla, Chit Lijauco, Emma Nava, Ted Locson and Jimmy Semana. PDP-Laban president, lawyer Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, was the guest of honor and speaker during the fellowship dinner.
Congratulations to the new board!

"And so fellow governors, thank you again for this honor, I pray that we in the PCRG Board can serve our association to the best of our ability. And to conduct ourselves in a manner befitting a good and true friend to fellow governors and Rotarians. One badge . . . we're here for you. Mabuhay!"
"Patrick was a highly respected businessman, philanthropist and civic leader. Without seeking acclaim, he brought honor, dignity and goodwill to all associations and enterprises he ever joined. A dedicated and hard- working Rotarian who never stinted on his time, Pat influenced and inspired not only members of his club but also Rotarians from all over the country. Through the years, he initiated programs and activities, and inspired the start of numerous projects, to accomplish the Object of Rotary. He mentored and was the role model for many serious-minded Rotarians who became leaders in their own turn."
